How do I reset my Online Banking password?

If you use a BMO Debit Card to sign in to Online Banking, click here to reset your password online. You can reset your password online with your BMO Debit Card if you have an email address on file with us, and you are accessing Online Banking from a computer you usually use.

If you are a Small Business customer with a BMO Debit Card for Business, please call 1 866 551-9381 and a Customer Contact Agent would be pleased to assist you.

If you use a BMO Credit Card to sign into Online Banking, please call the MasterCard Client Contact Centre at 1 800 263-2263 to reset your password.

If you have successfully logged in to Online Banking and wishes to change your password:

  1. Select My Profile & eDocuments.
  2. Click on Change My Password.

You can also review and change your security questions by selecting ‘My Security Settings’.
