Ask a question
Why don’t I have to enter a security question when sending an e-transfer to someone who’s registered for autodeposit?
That’s because autodeposit users don’t have to answer a security question to receive money from an e-transfer. The money will be automatically deposited into their bank account.
We’ll let you know if the recipient is registered for autodeposit when you’re sending an e-transfer. Keep in mind that the money you’re sending will go straight into the recipient’s bank account and you won’t be able to cancel the e-transfer after it has been sent.
