How do I pay my Property Taxes through BMO Online Banking?
- Select the Payments & Transfers tab.
- Click on Add a Payee.
- For Payee Province select the province associated with the bill (for example for Calgary property tax, select “AB”)
- Enter the Payee Name
- Tips:
- For Calgary Property Taxes, enter “Calgary” and choose “Calgary, Taxes”
- For Edmonton Property Taxes, enter “Edmonton” and choose “Edmonton, Taxes”
- For New Brunswick Property Taxes, enter “New Brunswick” and choose “New Brunswick, Taxes”
- For Ottawa Taxes, Enter “Ottawa” and choose “Ottawa, Taxes”
- For Surrey Taxes, Enter “Surrey” and choose “Surrey, Taxes” Enter your account number as it appears on your bill in the Account Number field. Use your 10-digit folio number as the account number. If your folio number ends with “X”, replace it with a “9”.
- Enter a Nickname that will help you remember this payee for next time
- Click on Verify Payee
You will be asked to confirm the payee you want. If correct, select “Add Payee” to continue.
