What account number do I use when paying the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ)?

You must have on hand your 16-digit payment notice number. This appears on part 1 of your payment notice.

You must know in which month your payment is due. If you are unsure, please visit the SAAQ to determine this,

When adding the payee, enter only the first 15 digits of the payment notice number.

  1. To add SAAQ Immatriculation as a payee, follow these steps:
  2. Select the Payments & Transfers tab.
  3. Click on Add a Payee.
  4. For Payee Name Enter “SAAQ” and select the SAAQ Immatriculation item associated with the month when your payment is due.
  5. Enter the first 15 digits of your 16-digit payment notice number as it appears on your bill in the Account Number field.
  6. Enter a Nickname that will help you remember  this payee for next time
  7. Click on Verify Payee

You will be asked to confirm the payee you want. If correct, select “Add Payee” to continue.
