Ask a question
What is a spousal RSP?
Spousal RSP’s are vehicles by which RSP contributions can be made to a (Spousal) RSP account. Contributions to a spousal or common-law partner RSP reduce your RSP deduction limit. If you cannot contribute to your RSP because of your age, you can still contribute to your spouse's or common-law partner's RSP until the end of the year he or she turns 71.
