Ask a question

What are excess items?

Some bank plans have limits on the number of transactions they cover. Excess items are chargeable transactions (at the branch, by phone, through Online or Mobile Banking or at a BMO ATM) you have completed that exceed your monthly bank plan transaction limit.

If your banking needs have changed, visit our Choose an Account webpage to pick a new plan. To make the plan change, visit your nearest BMO Bank of Montreal branch or contact us.
