What are eStatements, and how do I sign up?


eStatements are electronic copies of your printed account statements, stored in .pdf format.  To switch your accounts to eStatements: 

  1. Click on My Accounts.
  2. Select your account.
  3. Click on Change Statement Options.
  4. Select the accounts you wish to change and choose ‘eStatement’ under Available Statement Options.

Once you have switched to eStatements, you will no longer receive your paper statements.

The following accounts are eligible for eStatements:

BMO Bank of Montreal Bank Accounts Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)
BMO Credit Cards and Lines of Credit Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP)
Retirement Savings Plans (RSPs) Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA)
Retirement Income Fund (RIFs)
