How do I stop a payment on a cheque?


  1. Click on My Accounts.
  2. Select your bank account.
  3. Select Stop Payment.

A Stop Payment cannot be placed if the item has already been processed through your account. A cheque or pre-authorized payment that has a Stop Payment in place will be debited from your account and returned within two business days.
